Description: For sale is a Pre-Owned Used1987 Magnavox D8300 Boombox Dual Cassette Tape MDHQ 5 Speaker AM/FM Radio. Known issues are as follows, tape counter Rubber band on the inside has broken and does not count the tape numbers, new band is needed. A pink plastic gear somewhere in the tape deck has disintegrated unknown what its function was. Rust and slight battery corrosion on the battery Terminals, Untested with was of batteries. AM/FM Tested and Working. Cassette tape A Tested and was working, the Cassette tape played correctly but was eaten by Radio and snapped, Unable to test side B I had no other cassette to try. Dubbing Untested. Other functions, Equalizer, Volume, Tuner and switches Tested and working. Headphone Jack and Aux Inputs Untested. Radio was Garage stored for many years and has dust and dirt build up, I cleaned Most but it will require addition cleaning to remove the rest. Shoulder strap worn condition on magnavox Logo stitching as shown in photos. Has minor white paint spots that can be removed. Minor wear and scratches from normal use. Antenna intact and functioning. Sounds amazing, Loud, crystal clear with no static. Great boombox for use AM/FM or a project to repair or test the Tape decks.
