Antique 1820 Folk Art Mary Piper Barre Needlework Sampler

Description: Click photos for larger image! Description & Condition: Up for sale is this antique American 1820 signed Barre folk art school girl needlework sampler wrought by Mary W. Piper aged 12 . It is silk on linen and depicts the alphabet 4 times with a small row of numbers. It measures 11 " by 10 1/2" and black painted frame 12 1/2" by 12". There is a family tree in an envelope on the reverse. It is in good condition with some colors faded with some light staining. See photos. I am not sure of its state origin.
