The design beautifully depicts two Chinese scholars, a fisherman, a fortress gate, and a landscape of mountains and rivers. This is an original Tochihata piece from the Iwami Ginzan region, which is quite rare. Unlike modern openwork replicas, it has a dignified presence. While there is some rust, it can be improved with proper care. The openwork is intact, and the characteristic rope-pattern rim features well-executed wild goose designs in openwork style.
