This exceptional gold and shakudo fuchi would make an important addition to any collection. The fuchi has a peony flower motif. This fuchi is made of fine gold and shakudo nanako. This fitting measures just under 1 5/16" by 5/8" wide inside length/width. The nakago-ana measures just over 1 1/16" by 5/16". Note that the signature's clever location--visible to the owner while fitted to his sword. Condition:This fine antique Japanese fuchi is in beautiful condition.
