It is water ...resistant... with the nylon fabric inside. I picked this one up in Australia. It's used but in good shape. I like the pull string closure. The strap is useable but won't win any awards. It's better as a belt bag. I'm shooting rangefinders with smaller lenses so I don't use it anymore. It was great with my Fuji XT-2 and a 55-200mm or 18-135mm. Last thing, it should be obvious but take care not to put the bag down hard on the bottom where the lens is. NOTE: I am leaving on a shoot in Miami on June 9th -12th. If you buy it during that time I will not be able to ship until the 14th +/-. It is rare to see this bag - it's also a good bag just to put in your luggage.
