Up for bid is a truly unique piece, a promotional Dunhill humidor + ashtray set, only available to UK tobacconists through Hunters & Frankau, the famous UK cigar wholesaler. I acquired this piece while working for a tobacconist in Scotland during the mid-aughts. It dates to around 2003. It may be one of a kind, as I have yet to find any sort of equivalent through extensive internet searches. This humidor has a very tight rubber seal, and a locking mechanism with key. Humidor External Measurements: Width: 14.25 inches Length: 10.25 inches Height: 4.5 inches Weight: 8lbs, 9 oz Ashtray Measurements: Width: 5.75 inches Length: 9.25 inches Height: 2 inches Weight: 4lbs, 6oz The humidor has a red, clear, plexiglass insert, the iconic Dunhill red square. This same red square motif is repeated in the bed of the ashtray. Red felt bottom on the humidor. The ashtray is a two piece design, solid hardwood and solid metal pieces it is very heavy and solid. The metal and wooden pieces are separable. Ashtray has its original matchbox, matches, completely unused and 100% original. Minor cosmetic damage to the top of the humidor, this does not affect its performance. Western Humidification device included. This was my personal humidor for many years, but I have quit smoking cigars and this is the only reason for the sale. I take very good care of my things, please know that the description is accurate.
