With the shaft mounted in the truck from the flat face of the flange on the transfer end to the center of the u-joint on the front diff is approx 39 7/8 " IN OPERATING POSITION or 38 3/8" face to center colapsed .If your length is different please contact us thru E-Bay Messaging for any Questions you may have.The slip end (ft diff) of our shaft will look slightly different than the original which is necked down and uses a boot design.Our shaft uses a screw on cap with a greasable sliding yoke and will function the same as the OE shaft.
