People's Artist of the RSFSR.He studied at the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute (MISI) in 1931–1936. In the 1930s, together with his brother Oleg, he made cartoons (signed by MOA) for the newspapers Bezbozhnik and Rabochaya Moskva, and the Searchlight magazine.From 1932, he drew political cartoons for the Moscow magazines Krokodil, Ogonyok, Izvestiya, Literaturnaya Gazeta, and other publications. Participated in exhibitions since 1934. Author of graphic albums “They are without a mask”, “Satire”, “Satire on the enemies of the world”, “Colonialists out!” (together with A. Bazhenov), "Be on the alert."Mark Abramov's posters are notable for their unusual sharpness and expressiveness, their plots and themes are somewhat provocative.
