Dedicated to one of the labor exploits of the first five-year plans - the construction of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The premiere of the film in the USSR took place on May 1, 1938. Part of the filming took place in the village under construction in those years at the 8th state district power station. Nevdubstroy (now Kirovsk, Leningrad Region). In 1932, the party and the government decided to create a city of youth on the banks of the Amur. The glorious sons of the Leninist Komsomol responded to the party's call. The future city was named ... The first group of Komsomol volunteers is sailing to the wild shores of the Amur on the Columbus steamer. They will have to build a whole city in the taiga in the shortest possible time. And a continuous work shift begins: uprooting the forest, laying the first houses, the arrival of the first train along the still under construction branch from Volochaevka ... The film was partially filmed on the spot, with extras from local residents who actually played themselves. ☆Tamara Makarova ☆Ivan Novoseltsev ☆Pavel Volkov ☆Aleksandr Polibin ☆Nikolay Kryuchkov ☆Stepan Krylov www.imdb.com/title/tt0030331/ SHAMASH ALEKSANDER IOSIFOVICH (1915-1987) - Soviet graphic artist, poster artist and journalist.
