Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Paul Young “K.T. Keller” bamboo fly rod. This rod was built for Jim Reinke in 1953 (I believe Reinke ran a guide service out of Michigan). Overall, this rod is in near excellent shape and it looks amazing. This rod is fresh from an estate and it doesn’t look like was used much. Both tips and the butt-section are full-length and straight. Please note, the cork handle has minor wear and soiling. Also, the finish on both of the tip guides is slightly rubbed off. The Super-Z ferrules fit tight and as intended. The butt-section reads: “Jim Reinke-1953”. “K.T. Keller Model- 8’- 4oz. Wet Tip 3.90oz. Dry Tip”. The 1st tip section reads: “Wet – H.D.H- H.D.G.” “Fer- .234 Tip Top .078”. The 2nd tip-section reads: “Dry- H.E.H.” “Fer- .234 Tip Top .083”. This rod comes complete with the tube and sock (the sock has a small cut near the top). All-in-all, a very nice rod that would look great in any collection! Please see all of the photos and thank you for looking.
