All fabric, batting, and thread are top of the line quilting materials. I take special care to be sure the topper is well constructed so you would be proud to display it or give it as a gift. Use on a snack bar, kitchen counter, dresser, bathroom counter top, dinning room table, hutch, end table, and makes a great bunco gift. This topper can be hand washed and Lay or hang up to dry. You will need to use a PRESS CLOTH over the embroidery if you iron it on a low setting. I would just spot clean and keep it dusted using a swiffer duster. Sewn in a pet/smoke free home.
