Description: This antique chair set from Shop of the Crafters is a stunning addition to any dining room. The set includes three identical chairs, each Mission Style and inlaid with an elaborate Frank Lloyd Wright style wooden design. All the chairs feature some wear and two need to be veneered near the their top front and/or rear surfaces. All are in solid and sturdy condition. The original floral upholstery is covered with vinyl. Crafted in 1906, these chairs were in the home of Harold Hopps, the brother and associate of the founders of the United Glass Company of San Francisco, creators of many major stained glass works including those installed in the courtyard of the Palace Hotel, The City of Paris department store (now Neiman Marcus ) Bardelli's restaurant and others. The Crafter's unique wooden veneer finishes and patterned design were well known for being at the forefront of Mission Style artistic design and style.
