Description: This blanket has a wonderful, ‘40s-‘50s look and is made to last. It is by Antelope and made in China. Nowhere does it say it is made of wool or “woolen.” Rather, the label says “Woollen”, which is either a misspelling or some sort of trademark for a wool blend. It is heavy and warm, weighing 5 lbs. Two bands of a stylized floral pattern are featured on a solid background. The pattern has an Art Deco vibe. The background color is somewhere between a light taupe and a sandy pink, and the satin trim is a pale yellow-green/chartreuse. The condition is excellent. There are a few areas that have very minor loss of surface nap (see photos). There are no holes or tears. The satin trim’s stitching is intact all the way around. The blanket appears to have had minimal use.
